random notes:

* Some japanese phrases like 'hajimemashite', 'yoroshiku', 'gokuro-san' or 'ganbatte' are not exactly conversable in bahasa malaysia (take that, you 1Malaysia fagg0ts!), so our translator might've modified and interchanged the meaning/translation to fit in the situation. We hope it still captures the essence of the situation.

*Episode 1 until 3 are ripped from [gg] fansub. Unfortunately, somebody was too dumb to read, we didn't credit anyone in episode 1; and wrongly credited [Ecliptic-BSS] for episodes 2 and 3. (Our credit to the kind-hearted English subbers is during the half a second reminder that the show is fictional and other crap.) But since these two groups are basically the same people, we hope they don't mind. We love you, gg and Ecliptic and BSS. (The name is in no order of preference.)

*The releases were only QC-ed once. Some leftover mistakes might still be left behind. Do understand 1Malaysia's internet speed (Ha, take that again you 1Malaysia fagg0ts!) and do understand our misery of uploading this 300Mb++ show to MU. Forgive the careless typos, 'k?

*Bahasa Malaysia sentence structure in the translation is a bit all over the place. We know this, but we're trying to capture the Japanese way of talking. Therefore, the bahasa translation is ordered to match closely the order of the Japanese conversation.

Again, be reminded that our translation is in Malay. A relatively 'skema' one at that.

Beware of slight bahasa rojak, the word 'awek', one misspelling, too direct English-Malay translation and cheesy phrases.

And oh, I won't fucking translate the words 'internet', 'chat', 'cool'... and some others. What words are they gonna be, anyway? sesawang? borak? sejuk?

release-wise, We're ripping these groups for these episodes.

1 - 6, 11 == [gg] fansub

7 - 15 == [BSS-Ecliptic] fansubs

16 - onwards == AnCo^2 fansub

Why? Because we already have .mkv files for the episodes from the respective groups. Internet here is so slow, and sorry to say we're not willing to re-downlod the previous episodes so we can just rip from one single group. Go thank these groups if you're downloading any of our release.

Oh, episode one is total boredom. But stay tuned, it begins to roll downhill and now it's unstoppable.

And oh, we might not translate in a linear timeline. We'd be subbing current episodes first, with older ones in between if we have the time.

Welcome to Alex Thief~!

Alex Thief is (probably) the only Malay fansub group existing.

Why Alex Thief?

Because the boss's Facebook Pet Society creature is called Alexander Cream. And apparently the boss is naming himself Alexander Cream as well. Lame.

Since we're n00bz, we don't know any Japanese, we don't know anything about encoding and we're plain dumb, we're just going to rip everything off the .mkv files of already subbed episodes. Meaning, the translation process is: Japanese --> English by other respectable groups --> Alex rips everything into Malay. MUAHAGAGHAHA!

Alex is a thief. Therefore, Alex Thief.

That aside, we'll happily fully credit the English subber if requested. (Without crediting our group. We just want to spread the love.)

What show are you gonna do?

As far as right now, just Durarara!!! Our team members are crazy about that show.

Oh still, depends on the English subbers since our team does not have a JP translator. Or a typesetter, or a programmer... (English subber teams, have pity on us! We're just trying to live.)

Other shows? We'll see. But right now we're thriving to end this one and see how it goes from there. Again, depends on the english subbers team. If they want to sue us, we'll have no choice but to drop out =(

And depends on Alex. He might close this team next decade, he might close it tonight. We'll see. But we'll try to at least last Durarara!!!

Releases?

Sorry mates, we'll just be able to upload the file on megaupload. The internet here is too slow, the boss doesn't think he can upload it to more than one server. And since he poor, he'll need a free file hosting service. No bittorent because the whole team are n00bz and nobody knows how to create a torrent file. Nor does anyone have a powerful machine to act as bot/server.

But feel free to upload the files on other file hosting service/torrent/IRC and link back here so that we can put up the link here (for others to download).

Are all release notes going to be in English when your releases are Malay?

Again sorry mate, but yes. English will be the main language, but we'll include some Malays (we think). Just look for download links if you get headache reading English release notes. Go ahead and leave your comments in Malay, tho.
